Perfectly Posed Newborn Session

Perfectly Posed Newborn Sessions with Erin Layton Photography take place within the first 21 days of life. This timeline is necessary to ensure a posable, sleepy, squishy baby!

A typical newborn session can last approximately 2-3 hours. My style is very clean, simple and classic. I steer clear of huge prop set-ups while taking a minimalistic approach as far as outfits are concerned. I provide wraps, headbands, bonnets, hats and some delicate pants/outfit sets to compliment the backdrop. I avoid photographing newborns in big crocheted outfits, oversized headbands, etc. If you have something you’d like to incorporate, I’d love to chat with you about it so we can brainstorm and make it great! I use classic posing techniques with your child’s safety as my number one priority. My goal is to document your new bundle of joy just how you will remember them — tiny fingers and toes, adorable rolls, and all of their features that are their very own.

Each Newborn Session includes up to 6 set ups (posed, prop shots, and family/sibling shots, if requested). I highly encourage all immediate family members to get at least one shot together so that you can see the beauty, that is your family, through someone else’s eyes! Your family will never look like this again, so embrace it while you can!

Sessions are held at my Logan Township based studio on weekdays.
