Family Session

Family photography has my whole entire heart. It is my favorite type of session. I wouldn’t want to do any of this if it wasn’t for the family as a whole. Personally, my family is very tight-knit. Maybe that’s where my love for family sessions comes from. The unconditional love is something that cannot be fabricated. When a family, small or large, hires me to photograph them, I seriously get so excited. When I first started my photography journey I was always aiming for those picture perfect, everyone smiling, looking straight at the camera, cookie-cutter images. Those images don’t really speak to me as much anymore. Of course I always make sure I snap a few, because those usually make it to Grandma’s wall, but my focus has shifted and I’m more interested in photographing the “real you” that is your family.
